Atlanta, Georgia
3D finite element analysis of a freestanding tubular
steel canopy frame supported on reinforced concrete pier foundations. Canopy
design is retrofit into existing limited space with no support from adjacent
structures and no interference with existing foundation systems. 3D modeling
design includes sway analysis under peak wind and seismic events to insure
against canopy structure impact with adjacent building enclosure.
